Lomi Ahi on Sushi Rice
- 2 teaspoons shoyu
- 1/2 teaspoon ground chili pepper or more to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon wasabi paste (S&B brand if available)
- Pinch of sea salt
- 2 pounds ahi or aku, finely chopped
- 4 cups cooked rice or sushi rice
For garnish:
- 1/4 cup finely sliced Maui onion
- 1/4 cup finely sliced green onion
- 1/4 cup shredded nori
- 1/4 cup salmon roe (optional)
- 1/4 tobiko (flying fish roe) (optional)
