Ingredients:
Lomi Salmon
Try this delicious recipe from the Electric Kitchen!
- 1/2 lb salted salmon
- 5 tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup chopped green onions
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup crushed ice
Directions:
- Soak salmon in water for 3 hours.
- Remove skin and bones; shred salmon into a bowl.
- Add tomatoes and onions; lomi or knead until well mixed.
- Chill thoroughly.
- Add ice before serving.
Makes 6 servings.
Approximate Nutrient Analysis per serving:
100 calories, 3.5 g fat, 0.5 g saturated fat, 15 mg cholesterol, 600 mg sodium, 9 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 6 g sugar, 9 g protein
