Macaroni Casserole

Ingredients:

Macaroni Casserole

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (6 1/2 ounces) tuna, drained OR 3/4 cup diced ham
  • 3 cups cooked macaroni
  • 1/4 cup dried breadcrumbs

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour.
  4. Add milk and cook on low heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Stir in mustard, horseradish, cheese, and tuna or ham.
  6. Stir macaroni into sauce.
  7. Pour into prepared casserole.
  8. Sprinkle with crumbs.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes.

Makes 6 servings.
