- Mix well, let sit for about 10 minutes, allowing bread to absorb the liquid and soften.
- Use a fork to break the bread into finer pieces.
- Add ground beef and sausage, mix thoroughly, but do not over mix, as over-handling will cause the meatloaf to become tough.
- Form six individual loaves, 1-inch thick.
- Bake until done* (an instant read thermometer should read 165 degrees, the meatloaf should not be pink in center, and the juices should have no pink color).
