Shrimp Sarciado

Ingredients:

Shrimp Sarciado

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 pound extra-large shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons patis (fish sauce)
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. In a large pan, heat oil on medium to high heat, add onions and sauté until translucent.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until they start turning pink.
  4. Add tomato and cook until tomato releases its liquid, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Add patis and mix in well.
  6. Add egg into pan and using a spatula, scramble it into other ingredients.

Serves 4.
