Spicy Miso Edamame

Ingredients:

Spicy Miso Edamame

  • 1/2 pound frozen edamame (in shells)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes

Directions:

  1. Prepare edamame according to package instructions.
  2. Transfer cooked edamame to a big bowl.
  3. In a small frying pan on medium heat, heat oil.
  4. When pan is hot, add garlic and chili paste, cook until combined and fragrant.
  5. Add miso and mix all together for 1 minute.
  6. Remove from heat and pour the spicy miso mixture over the edamame and toss to coat.
  7. Sprinkle chili flakes on top.
  8. Serve immediately.

Serves 2.
