Tiki Bar Nuts

Ingredients:

Tiki Bar Nuts

  • 8 slices of bacon, cooked crispy and cut into 1/2-inch strips
  • 1 cup salted roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup salted roasted almonds
  • 1 cup sesame sticks (available at health food stores)
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried pineapples
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried mango
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon local honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, toss all ingredients together.
  3. Spread on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, stirring once, until honey is caramelized.
  4. Remove from oven and cool, stirring occasionally.

Makes 5 cups.
