- 1 block (20 oz) firm tofu (soybean curd)
- 1 tablespoon minced dried shrimp
- 1/4 cup minced green onion
- 1 tablespoon hondashi (Japanese fish flavored soup granules)
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon chopped shiofuke konbu (Japanese dried salted seaweed)
- Salad oil for frying
