- Preheat electric oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, sift flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
- With an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar.
- Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
- Add crispy rice cereal and chocolate chips.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for about 12 minutes or until brown.
Makes 36 cookies.
