Uncle Keith's Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

Uncle Keith's Apple Crisp

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups butter
  • 2 cans (21 ounces each) apple pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar.
  3. Cut butter into flour mixture, until it looks like crumbs or coarse meal.
  4. Press a little more than half of this mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  5. Spread apple filling over crust.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon over apple filling.
  7. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over apple filling.
  8. Bake for about 1 hour.

Makes 20 servings.
