Sun Power for Schools
Lehua Elementary School
On November 7, 2013 Lehua Elementary School became the 37th school (twenty-first on Oahu) to receive a rooftop solar system. The 2-kW grid-connected rooftop solar system consists of eight monocrystalline LG solar modules. The rooftop solar system is equipped with a sensor box which is able to measure and record a variety of information such as the ambient and panel temperature, irradiance, and wind speed.
