Sun Power for Schools
Manoa Elementary School
On April 1, 2014 Manoa Elementary School became the thirty-ninth school (twenty-third on Oahu) to receive a rooftop solar system. The 2-kW grid-connected rooftop solar system consists of eight monocrystalline LG solar modules. The rooftop solar system is equipped with a sensor box which is able to measure and record a variety of information such as the ambient and panel temperature, irradiance, and wind speed.
